In order to inculcate a sense of patriotism and make the students aware of the Indian National Movement, TATA DAV Public School, WBC, Ghatotand celebrated the 79^th Quit India Movement Day on 8^th August 2021. This event was organised to instil the spirit of nationalism among students and motivate them to have a sense of pride for the stalwarts of Indian Freedom Struggle and their contributions. The entire programme was organized in an online mode and consisted of two events namely Slogan Poster making competition and Quiz Competition. The former event was meantfor students of classes VI – VIII who created hand-made posters with slogans highlighting patriotic and nationalistic fervour written on the backdrop of drawings and sketches and submitted to their respective class teachers by 03:00 PM on 8^th August 2021.Quiz Competition was conductedvia Google Meet as an inter-house competition for students of Classes IX – XI on the same day from 05:00 PM – 06:30 PM.
