Dr B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated in morning assembly to honour Babasaheb as a great social reformer and the legend of dalit movement. He was  also the architect of  Indian constitution and 1st Law Minister  of independent India. He was honored with Bharat Ratna award in 1990.
